We have blocked off the old coop and she still wants to get in there at night. We have picked her up and put her in the new one a few nights. I have read keeping them locked in the coop for a day or two helps reteach them where their home is. Have you guys had any experience with this working or not?

That can help but as long as the old coop is still where it is my guess is she'll still try to get to it even after you let her out. Also the entire flock would need to be locked up, which is likely more of a hassle than moving her in manually each night until she figures it out.
