Hello! We are relatively new in the chicken world. My son wanted to show them in 4h, but last year had the chicken ban. So getting ready to show them at the fair for the first time! We have buff Cochins, dominiques, and a few others (some I'm still not sure about) that we bought in an ornamental layer assortment online. All hens now. Then a friend of a friend gave us a few of his show chickens. I believe they're Ameracaunas.

Welcome to BYC! Yesterday we went to the Newton Co. Fair in Neosho, MO, and enjoyed seeing all the kids' chickens. I love it that parents encourage the kids to be involved with poultry!
