New Silkie Flock

I have started a new flock of black silkies, two pure black girls and the rooster is black with slight gold leakage on his neck.... Can I expect pure black chicks or if I breed these can there be a variation? I am aware that the gold leakage may come through from the side but I am happy enough with that. I will post pictures of them if needed.

You can expect at least mostly all black chicks. In aus I know silkies are all partridge and use other melanizing genes to make them black rather than just extension. So.. if they are not homozygous for the melanizers then you may find a few brown partridge chicks amongst the black chicks and some of your black chicks, especially boys, will grow up having various levels of leakage. But its impossible to say what you will get for certain before you try.
