New to coops!

Have extra out building with overhang. Want to turn into Chicken Coop. I need plans on how to make this function. Wanted one for years. Had one on farm parents had years ago, and always wanted my own. Went into military, never did get to see how it worked.

Rule of thumb is 4-5 sq.feet per bird inside the coop, excluding roosts and nest boxes.
Allow 10 sq.feet per bird in the outdoor run. If you have weather extremes in your climate, your birds may be spending more time inside the coop. Chickens do not like being crowded at extremes they resort to feather plucking, bullying and even cannibalism.
