New use for turkey carcass

I threw our turkey carcass from thanksgiving out to my chickens and for the last week 1/2 they have been picking on it. I went out today and it is picked clean! Just thought I would post this as more holidays are coming up. (I normally make carcass soup but I forgot it in the fridge!)

When we process our extra roos we only take the breast and leg quarters so the rest of the carcass goes out in the pasture where the chickens wait patiently to pick through it. And at night the cats get what is left. We have been doing this for years.
