This thread thoroughly died (and I should probably crosspost in the area-specific thread), but I haven't stopped contacting people through other means and have found someone very local to trade live quail for meat rabbits, so it's happening, slowly.

Congrats! That's a much better way to set up what you are trying to do, rather the on a world wide forum

I think I mentioned it way back when, but having more than one person/offering already in-network is probably a more appealing pitch. I shall have to do it again once I'm actually going to have space in my incubator.

Next goal: ducks. I love me some ducks.

Don't give up! I raise meat chickens a couple of times per year and am located close to Morgan Hill, would love to trade. Have laying flock and large garden too!
