You can sex them as soon as those chest feathers start coming in at about 3 weeks old.Interesting. I didn't know that. I'll have to take a closer look tomorrow.
Pretty sure the top 2 have the reddish brown chest. Not sure I've seen black on the last one. Is 7 weeks too early for the chest feathering color markers?
Could you get a better tail shot? I believe it is a cockerel. Where did you get it? How old is it?

Nine weeks old. Will get a better photo today. I bought two at a small hobby farm chicken sale from a lady who breeds only Ameracaunas this one's comb is thicker and redder than the others is. Pic to come! Thanks for your time.

No. Not a Splash. He only has one copy of the Blue gene, so he is considered Blue.Thank you. Would he be what is called a blue splash?
