Poofy chicks! Up to a total of 4/7 ameraucana chicks so far. It's about day 22 now, but I'll leave the ameraucana eggs in for a few more days to see if there are any late comers.
The little one on the left has splayed legs, poor baby!

My little guinea keets seem to be doing good with the new brooder plate I got. Love it! It seems a lot more natural than a heat lamp, plus less fire risk.

Here are the little ones enjoying their new "mommy".

Looks like I got 2 blacks and 1 splash. Can't tell with #4 yet; hoping it's a blue.

Our October hatch. Not sure what they are thinking they're silkies. But the ones that look like chip monks could be anything we have a banty rooster. girls are buff orpingtons, barred rocks, isa reds and rhoad island reds. We also have aracaunas and Brahmas and a leg horn. What I do know were all the eggs were tan. Hoping someone will say that it's not possible for the banty to impregnate the big girls and they're all silkies but.
