I have a silkie that I thought was a hen. Then "it" started crowing, only in the morning and has some spurs. I had been in with a frizzle rooster, another frizzle, a bantam and a young silkie. When I noticed the spurs I left it in with the Frizzle roo and took the others out. I bought them from the same man and they came out of the same coop. So, I thought they would be okay together. Well, now the Frizzle is mounting "it". I hope it is a hen. I have read that silkie hens can crow and have spurs........HELP
