Officially stumped

These two birbs are presumed siblings, I thought they were both from my Sicilian Buttercup hen. I swear one had a dot at hatch and one without, but my memory is poo… The obvious roo is melanised Silkie x and the mystery is not. Likely dad are blue silkie or blue bantam Cochin, very slight chance porcelain D’uccle, or massive mystery black roo, BCM, Welsummer. They’re both 26 weeks. Is it a dude???

Yeah it’s a dude with saddle feathers but no butt! I love the Silkie cross too, he’s cute!

They just started coming in! The super pale face until recently and no comb had me going crazy lol. Colour screams roo, but WHERE IS THE COMB???? We have all combs here and I’ve be er had one just not be there on a roo lol

Yeah, some of these boys just toy with us! I got a cuckoo marans pullet at the Feed Store that I full on believed was a pullet because the comb and wattles took forever and then quit growing and were pale for a long time…and then one day she was pecking with her butt in the air and I saw alllll the saddle feathers and was like wait…what?? Finley is a boy?!? No crow, small comb, super timid…but definitely a rooster He’s still not very developed, but in last three weeks he’s gotten HUGE…and he’s in with my tiny d’Anver teens Gonna have to relocate to gen pop I think soon!
