What beautiful babies! I had some Swedish flower chickens before but my hen was always running off so she became hawk lunch.
And rooster was aggressive so he went to a friend, he loves him even though he gets flogged often.

Sorry to hear about your hen. I have been breeding them for over 3 years & gave yet to encounter an aggressive roo.

Hello everyone and welcome to the new members!Currently my girls are broody so production is down for the chickens. The quail are laying well and as soon as my incubator is empty the first batch of quail will go in.

Maybe it's because it came from a hatchery where there is not much love to them. I guess I am one of those people that I believe that every life is a gift from God and we should appreciate that gift.

Where is everyone? I know it's a busy holiday weekend but has everyone left the thread? Day 20 of JG incubation, no action yet. My flocks are already getting the frozen water bottles in the run and frozen fruit to keep cool. Fans are on as well, hot out there.
