I was walking in the country a couple of days ago and was shocked I had forgotten what it's like not to have chicken eating grasshoppers.

LOL...Kass. Want a few milk jugs full of grasshoppers to restock your property? I bet me and Nankat could give you a few years supply.

If you haven't read "The Grasshopper Trap," by Patrick Mcmanus I highly recommend it, it's a collections of short stories so funny they get hard to read, They boys in the title story want to get bait for fishing and recruit an older friend to help out, short version is a chair straped to the front side of an old truck with one of the boys sitting with a dipnet in his hands.....

I have a ton of grasshoppers too wish i had my guineas back but the dog i have now would probably kill them.
