I use 10% Oxine in the coops and all cages as well as the nest boxes because of the "anti" properties. Food grade Citric acid is like FruitFresh. Oxine with citric acid is used in the food prep business. Fogging with the CA might require tenting the doors with plastic to get the full benefit especially with all the gers mice and wild birds have brought in to my facilities. With my Lovebird contacts on another bird site, a lady in England was using the fog to treat a severe respiratory infection in her flock of Lovebirds with controlled breathing treatments in a tented cage under the direction of a vet. She was able to gain some control and save many of her birds. This is the article I follow with the Oxine, too. I don't use the CA. I mainly use it to disinfect hatching eggs and incubators, not so much in the coops. This is an article by a woman who uses Oxine on her flock, etc with measurements for each use.

I have not used the CA with oxine but think it may be helpful. It certainly cant hurt when the weather is nice enough for the birds to be outside while fogging.[/COLOR]
