Older hen with neurological symptoms

mycoplasmosis is whats killing her now, swollen sinuses only apparent now, mucous in mouth and throat constantly swallowing and eventually she will suffocate to death on that if i were to let her. All that ehad shaking she has been doing now i know is due to mucous blocking the airways, but was it always what those head shakes were ? They seemed neurological to me before whereas now the neurological signs are gone. But what caused her to become lethargic and stop eating and start wasting away nearly half a year ago??? … i don’t know. She actually started getting better when i did the vitamin supplementation with syringe feeding, she started eating by herself and then two days later she suddenly stopped and became worse.
She is only alive thanks to a tiny space and steam vaporiser full on eucalyptus inhalant and me feeding her. Im attempting syringe feeding tetracyclines as they are the only ones i have and then later feeding her with liquid avain emergency food. I will attempt this for the whole course of antibiotics because i already started. But i assume its too late.

Hey! Just following up that she hasn’t recovered her eye sight. My other hen never fell to any of the same symptoms. I assume it was either an infection/bacteria/virus only she was susceptible to, a tumor, or a stroke. She continues to struggle with coordination and getting her to eat and drink consistently is a constant struggle. I mix water with pellets daily, offer her mash, and supplement her diet with grubs, yogurt, and watery fruit. She’s still kicking it though and I move her to an enclosed cage so she can get yard time daily. She’s 8 and I’m not sure how long I’ll have her but have resigned to keeping her as comfortable and safe as possible while she lives out her old years.

¡Ey! Solo hago un seguimiento de que no ha recuperado la vista. Mi otra gallina nunca tuvo los mismos síntomas. Supongo que fue una infección/bacteria/virus al que ella era susceptible, un tumor o un derrame cerebral. Continúa teniendo dificultades con la coordinación y lograr que coma y beba constantemente es una lucha constante. Mezclo agua con bolitas a diario, le ofrezco puré y complemento su dieta con larvas, yogur y fruta acuosa. Ella todavía está pateando y la llevo a una jaula cerrada para que pueda pasar tiempo en el jardín todos los días. Ella tiene 8 años y no estoy seguro de cuánto tiempo la tendré, pero me he resignado a mantenerla lo más cómoda y segura posible mientras vive su vejez.

He estado buscando mucha información después de la muerte de mi gallina y los síntomas más similares están descritos en tu post, desarrolló cojera, diarrea blanca, ceguera, pupilas dilatadas y parálisis y posteriormente signos neurológicos que aumentaron por las noches hasta convertirse en agitado. mucho y murió, gritaba de dolor y tenía tics, espasmos en los movimientos de la cabeza, lamento mucho una enfermedad desagradable.
