Once in nest box, how long to lay egg?

I have 4 black star hens and it appears that one may not be laying eggs. Once a hen enters the nest box, about how long does it take her to lay the egg and get out of the nest box? I have been watching the hens to pinpoint which one is laying which egg. I'm trying to gather the eggs shortly after they are laid so I can tell if one of them is not laying and maybe has a problem. Or maybe I have an egg eater? Thanks for your help.

I've had hens take anywhere from five minutes to an hour, but it usually happens in maybe fifteen minutes. Hope this helps and

Some girls are in and out in a flash - others sit in the nest box for HOURS. It just depends.
