that's the way to do it! I never use a thermometer - if they are cold they will huddle under the light, if too warm they will huddle away from the light! Just make sure they have room to get away from the light.

Yep! they sure are adorable. I look forward to receiving mine every year. Here at the homestead we usually get between 80 and 100, then another 25 to 30 meat birds. Threw out the years i've had just about every breed, their so funny even now I laugh at the things they do. Enjoy!

Those are adorable chicks. I just looked at all your coop photos - you're doing SO well!! They'll love that coop.
