I had 3 late hatches this year with similar marks. Chicks are all healthy and happy, it gradually fills in as they feather out. Cute birdie!

When i went down to the meadow yesterday to feed her there was still three eggs. Now i go down today and there is a little one. So i guess now i share my birthday with this little one.

Just an update on the little peachick, still going strong but unfortunately she/he will be alone as the next day the mother had left the other two eggs. But they were both unfertilised, i didn't think she would know and just sit on them until they hatched.

Our other Peahen that had lost her two Peachicks is showing a strong interest in her Peachick. Is this normal?
