Hi, I'm new to peafowl! I just got these 3 babies over the weekend. They are 2 weeks old. I was told that they could be either of two types. Bronze Black Shouldered or Indian Blue Black Shoulder split Bronze. I was just wondering if anyone had any peachicks in those colors that could tell what they will be yet. Or do you have pictures of what the IB split Bronze peafowl look like?

Only splits of the patterns related to the white (split white, split pied, split silver pied) have visible traces on the body of the birds.
To be split of a color it will have nothing on his body which can confirm it ... it is just in the genome ... a single gene of this color. So a split bronze peahen is a blue peahen (IB)!

This peahen can be ...
... split Bronze.
Or ... split Opal .
.... Or split Montana ... etc .

They are out of a bronze black shoulder male and a India blue split bronze hen that I purchased from Craig Hopkins a few years ago

Impossible !
Learn to watch birds! inches after inches.
Where would the silver pied pattern come from ??

I made a mistake I forgot to put black shoulder in previous post the hen I purchased was India blue black shoulder split bronze it was the white speckled hen in the pen I showed you when you picked up chicks
