Peahen under feathers

My flock (4 chickens and 1 peahen) have finished their molt but my peahen is still losing a lot of the soft “under feathers”. Is this normal? My chickens have never lost this much after a molt.

She’s eating, drinking and acting totally normal. (That I know of this is my first year with her)

The image is just in her coop my yard is covered with them as they free range during the day

They will shed the insulating feathers as it warms up in the spring.

Well, I feel stupid now yup that makes sense. Used to this with my dogs, just not used to it with my hens. Thanks so much
