Hi new to ducks one 2-3 week old pekin and a 2 day old Cayuga girl. Unsure of Pekins sex. Just trying to get them to get along. Pekin seems to nip at little Cayuga.

For the safety of the younger one, they should be kept separate until they're the same size. They can play together as long as you're supervising to prevent any injuries.

@MandyJ when I rescued him, a few months later "she" started laying eggs and has been since last summer. We always took her eggs because I didn't want winter ducklings but now I'm praying she will sit.

Ha Ha! If SHE is laying eggs I guess she is a girl!!! LOL Good luck!

Ahh growing so fast!!! 2 weeks old now and I feel like they're huge!

...except that little brown guy, Peep. I know this is the pekin page but any ideas what he/she might be? It's much smaller than the pekins and my other "mystery duck"

I'm guessing your brown duckling is a Khaki Campbell. They're all adorable!!
