Pheasants started to peak through egg and blood came out.

Chicks usually do not 'pip' until they're ready to start preparing for hatching (the air cell is already full and large, and the yolk sac and blood vessels are beginning to recede).

Is the pip hole at the large part of the egg, or at the pointy end?

Usually, they would pip too early/prematurely if they're positioned at the pointy end of the egg--beak is near pointy end (causing them to bleed a little). If this is the case, it is important to carefully monitor the hatching progress of the chick. You would need to 'maybe' assist in the hatch--and make sure the chick is able to breath through the hole.

If they pip at the large part of the egg, and there is STILL blood, there are 2 things you need to do:

(1.) Make sure the bleeding around the pip hole stops (Dab with a moist tissue or Qtip. Make sure not to dab at the beak, or you will drown the chick).

(2.) Make sure that the chick is able to breath through the pip hole.
