I don;t see how yellow could be anything except buff; possibly dilute. Did he say which state she is from?

You know how Flamingos are pink because of the shrimp they eat? Maybe it would work with Silkies.

There are Lemon Silkies in Europe. I imagine that is what they are calling Yellow. It is not the same as a Buff at all but has other combinations in the base colors. I loaned my book out or I could report on the recipe.

The pink sound very interesting.
