What an awful week! Two days ago I went to let my two beautiful girls out in the morning, to find one of them had died in the night. She was fine the day before so it was a complete shock. They are almost 7 years old so I expected her to be with us much longer.
Iāve been bringing the other into the house so she can spend time around us and not feel too lonely or depressed, until we organise another companion for her.
Iāve gave her a check over and she has a large mass to the right side of her back end. Almost like an egg that is hard, but moveable. You can see it from above. Her skin is red around the area. She is acting normal and eating/ drinking/ pooing. I would have taken her to the appropriate vets as soon as I found it but we are snowed in at home. Any advice at all would be so appreciated.
Itās been a heart breaking week
