Please help moderator, I can't change my thread title

I have a thread in emergencies called "help rescued hen has serious foot problems i want to change it to add pics on page 6, so I can get some help with a diagnosis. when I click edit, it just changes the post but not the thread title. What am I doing wrong?

ok. go to first post and click edit. you can change your title

You have to be looking at the very first post in the thread. Then when you click edit, you get a title edit box as well as a box where you can edit the actual post text.

I had the exact same question!

Look at the original post you made on the thread. Down in the right corner click 'edit'. You will see your original title and can change it.
