Hi! My family and I recently got our first four chicks! We are first time chick owners. One of our chicks looks like their feathers are being plucked! It was bleeding more yesterday and I took these pics this morning. We aren’t really sure what to do! The chicks are about 2 months old. We think we have two hens and two roosters based off of advice we have been given. Any advice or explanation is greatly appreciated.

How re they kept? Most plucking is caused by boredom, or crowding. They need room to burn off excess energy running and scratching. The other reason for feather picking is a protein deficiency. Hopefully they are still getting a good fresh chick starter, and not much else.
