I didn't see anyone demanding anything. And I totally understand her wanting him to go to a good home where he won't get eaten. And what did you mean by close to a decade, the rooster? Because as far as I can tell he is pretty young.

I didn't say they were demanding. I've seen posts of people that demand birds you buy never be used for anything but pets. And I meant roosters in general can live close to a decade, not that this one in particular is almost that old
