We added a door and painted the floor and bottom half of walls to make daily hosing easier. Works well for us here.

It actually has a raised lip in the front, its about 1 1/2 inches high. I just pick up the whole thing and dump the shavings in the compost once a week and hose it out.
Reality is...the little jerks don't use it much. I gave up trying to keep them contained in their yard, so now they share my entire backyard with the dogs(who run from the ducks, like i said, little jerks).

this is my pen it was made of small trees i cut down and dug hole with root hormone on the trees so the roots would grow back and make it extra strudy

ohh and those are my rhode island red baby hens

gonna have a lot of eggs
