Plymouth Rock thread!

So do plymouth rocks have combs? I have three that I got from chicks, they really don't have much of a comb and and a sloped face.

So do plymouth rocks have combs? I have three that I got from chicks, they really don't have much of a comb and and a sloped face.  It depends on how old they are. If they have not started laying or have no signs of Starting to laye eggs which is about 20 weeks then the combs are pretty small. After 20 weeks there combs should start developing quickly because that's about the time when they are beginning to lay eggs.

Some of my Buff Plymouth Rocks
4 weeks and averaging 315g (a bit puny compared to my meatballs)
Not sure what they going to bring to my meat project, but I like buff birds.
I'm hoping they have a strong statue, but we will see.

I purchased 5 of these layers. She is 15 weeks in this pic. Is this a White Rock?

I love these chickens. So curious and friendly!

My 2 white Plymouth rock pullets (Odette and Aurora) and a leghorn (Winter). They loved hanging out in this basket when they were little and I was lucky enough to get a picture.
