Polish and Spitzhauben Genders

We have 5 crested chicks that are about 7 weeks old. Originally was told they were all polish but clearly thinking now they are 2 buff polish and 3 Spitzhauben variations. I know it’s still a bit early but am curious to hear some early thoughts

This is the first one we think is a buff polish. Still up in the air about pullet or cockerel

This is the 2nd suspected buff polish. Pretty sure this is a cockerel. Comb and wattle are already very developed

These are all of the suspected Spitzhauben mixes. Unsure on all 3 of these

I only see one male so far (2) but Polish can be harder to sex in general, so I would wait a few more weeks for the others.

I believe you have two red Polish, and the other three look like silver laced Polish mixes (or at least 3 does). The second red Polish is a cockerel, and that is the only obvious one so far. Update in a few weeks. They are all very adorable.

Red polish makes so much more sense now. Thank you! Yea the other 3 definitely seem like mixes of something for sure

First spitz mix. Thinking pullet

2nd spitz mix. Has pale red wattles but also rounded saddle feathers. Still unsure

And finally the silver laced polish. Leaning pullet as they have no comb or wattles.

Second Spitz is a cockerel. Otherwise, you are spot on.

I also have 4 silkies and blue Cochin that i am waiting a bit longer before posting. They are also 10 weeks old but it still seems too early

We should be able to sex the cochins at this point.
