Hummmm Unfortunately both my record keeping and memory are poor to non-existant.

However, I do know that they lay before any of the other breeds.

Thank you. You wouldn't know if this is a good size for this breed and age would you? We are supposed to show the end of august and I really don't want the worst in show for my sons first time. I'm brand new to the showing at the fair thing.

Her size is perfect for her age.

Okay. I was just wondering because my little WL was sitting in the nest box Saturday. We have older hens that let them know they don't just sit in there unless they have to lay an egg, so I know it wasn't just for comfort. She is 14 and a half weeks old.

She could very well already be thinking about it.... Might only be another week until she actually lays.
