Looking very nice!

Here are two young cockerels, a white and a black.

I have 6 white leghorns and I can't tell them apart. Well, one has an attitude, but not always. Anybody tag them or put a ankle braclet on them? Ideas of how to tell them apart?

I use colored zip ties. They just need to be checked often.

i also use zip ties.... If the bird is still growing check the tie every week.

If the bird is full grown, make sure it is just barely loose enough to wiggle, but not much more than that. Still best to check for the tie every week... But not quite as vital.

Here are my 2 leghorns (about 4 1/2 months old). They were originally supposed to be hens (both of them, guaranteed by the fee store) however you can clearly see the difference visually, as well as the fact that the male (on the right) CROWS!!!

I guess sexing of chicks is difficult.

I am afraid it is just the wrong time of year...

My leghorns are not set up in breeding pens.
