Post scalping... comb issues

My poor gal was scalped by a rooster a couple of weeks ago. She's been in my hen-spital in my kitchen getting treatment and it's been looking better. She acts ok.... however, I noticed last night her face and half her comb are very white and that part of her comb is swollen... beyond just pale. Ideas? Pictures of initial injury vs today.

All looks good to me. Healing from scalping is a slow process. Stress has likely caused a lowering of her hormonal level and lightening of her comb/wattles/face. What did you do with the rooster?

Finally caught him and he's been... taken care of.

Thank you for the advice. My kitchen smells like a barnyard but it's worth it. Hopefully infection stays away and she comes out on top!
