First egg from our second mystery layer. Not sure who laid it. Mayflower, our PBR, has laid 7 eggs in her first 8 laying days...Good girl!!

Here's the first egg from one of my two Buff Orpington pullets (laid yesterday, they're 19 weeks old today)...not sure if Dottie or Kit laid it as it was laid while we were at work, but excited nonetheless! The egg on the right is from one of my year-and-a-half old barred rocks, Amy, for size comparison...I just love the cute little round first eggs!

Got another first egg today from our Whiting True Blue girl Vega!! Boy am I starting to get very happy with my egg basket!! Center blue egg is hers.

our first egg! we have 4 golden comets that we got may 13th and one of them laid her first egg on september 20th! she laid another the next day but didn't today...she took a personal day these hands are my daughter's, she's three and over the moon to have found an egg!
