Three Partridge Penes hatched over night. Two more have pips!

Very exciting!

Now to get Brand interested in the other two Hens...It should be better--the pretty Heritage RIRs are out of the pen now.

I will have to wait a bit. There are 7 more eggs in various stages of hatching the UofA Blues are taking their sweet time again.

The Partridge pene chicks are much larger than others. They are very pretty too. There are 4 of them out, all from the same hen.
 
I was able to get the Partridge Penedesenca chicks out. I have two pullets, one for sure cockerel and one likely cockerel.



This is the UofA Blue x Crele Penedesenca OE that had a white spot on it's head. It is a Cockerel of course:

I have a Blue Andalusian rooster that I would like to rehome. He is not mean or aggressive but I have decreased my number of hens and he is just too much for them. He is about 6 months old. We hatched some eggs that he had fertilized and the chicks were a beautiful blue color and one that is a pearl color. I am located in Orange, VA.
