Poults of 2024

Are your turkey girls being extra good at hiding them?
Usually I find the eggs starting St Patrick's Day. Although one year I did find one on the 9th. And in the middle of the season I found an egg poking out of leaves along a fence line.... there were a dz or so buried in the leaves. I was checking there regularly and didn't see them.

So soon ,

First two 2024 poults from my farm have hatched. Started pipping yesterday, and two healthy poults today. They came from a royal palm tom over a royal palm/broad breasted bronze hen.

Meet the babies, Blue, Black, Orange, Purple, Green, Yellow, Red, & Pink
One failed to pip externally and died. Another failed to pip externally, so I helped it and it still in the incubator.

Here they are with some chicken chicks, a Muscovy duckling, and a Call duckling.
