Let the quilting begin!
I am on BYC often, and I will be available to answer questions, and all who send blocks will receive blocks from whoever else takes part. I ask that when you ship all of your blocks, add a large SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) for easy block shipment. ALL BLOCKS are sent to me (yes, even yours your keeping) so that I can be sure every pile of blocks sent out contains one from every single sender. It’s confusing to keep track of 12 - 15 different piles, and who doesn't need one. I want no mistakes, so make and send them all at once.
TO SIGN UP: Please put "SIGN ME UP" OR "YES, I'M IN" or something all by itself in a post on the forum. (Or, put it first, then elaborate) Please post you want to be involved HERE on THIS THREAD.
Thanks
Kat

I actually got 5 tops done. I did two with the animal panels in similar colors, just slightly different layouts. One with the Berenstain Bears and two with the 1930 square in a square fabric. Sorry I could not find the pictures of the finnished square in a square tops, one has a pink border and the other an orange border.

This is a quilt I made in Dec for my son's best friend & wife's first baby. I have taught myself to free motion quilt on my home machine & I am loving it! The name is done in needle turned applique. thanks for letting me share :)

I have my blocks done.:) Can't get outside to work my yet, because this is what we are still getting - It hasn't been above freezing for the last three days. Easter we got 5" of snow, while most of the rest of the state enjoyed 60 degrees or above. Lake Superior is not our friend in the Spring!
just say no to snow!!!

Hi everyone !
I haven't been around for a week as we have been to Greece, not our usual place but to Corfu. It was beautiful but I can't imagine how busy it must get later in the season. We got lucky with the weather and had a great week! Now back to catch up with the sewing.

My challenge for the Rocky Timms photo course this week was "wonderland" so had to persuade my daughter dressing as a mermaid was a good idea!

We take the wooden pin out and the door flips down. The nest boxes from the store room side.
Inside of the coop. We have roosts on all 3 walls. The nest boxes from in the coop.
We ferment their feed so we have a eaves trough attached to the wall to eat out of.
We can open their door from the store room with this rope. DH has it on a pulley system. To close it, we unhook it from the nail. The knot in the loop of the rope stops the rope when it reaches a hole in the wall up toward the ceiling. The second pic is one of the pullies.

The rope going to the door. The door is at the bottom of pic. This is our set up. It works well for us. We were going to put vinyl on the floor, but DH had the rubber roofing material already, so that is what we used. The wood floor under the mat is in new condition, so good protection in case we ever use it for something else.
