prayer warriors (following Jesus Christ, everyone welcome)

great "conversation"

I think all the questions I had on the Matthew 7 passage on judging have been answered, some in several different ways, there seems to be agreement.

one thing we might have missed, we do not need to judge those that do not follow Jesus, they are not brothers, that is God's job.

We might need "wisdom and discernment" to decide if they are brothers.
Very important point. One that was driven home to me just within the last year. When it comes to unbelievers, we are not to hold them to the standard that we have for ourselves. They are not God's adopted children. Just as I would not be allowed to enter my neighbor's house and start disciplining his children, telling them what to wear, what to eat, what shows to watch on TV, the same goes for non-believers. Until they become God's children, the Bible and the instruction in it is not intended for them. Would they benefit from following it, even if not a believer? I believe they would. Just as the neighbor's children would benefit from wearing modest clothing, eating a wholesome diet, and watching family oriented programming instead of a TV diet of horror films and porn.

I have another prayer request... My Dad is in the Coast Guard, and he will be transferred soon. Please pray for God's guidance in this, I don't WANNA MOVE again!!!!!! We're barely WVians!!!!!! This place is almost heaven!!
Almost heaven, West Virginia,
Blue Ridge Mountain, Shanandoah River,
Life is old there, older than the trees,
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze

Country Roads, take me home
To the place I belong,
West Virginia,
Mountain mamma, take me home
Country roads

All my memories, gather round her
Miner's lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye
