This hen is the best! She's such a sweet girl, she and my Amy never leave each other's sides.

Rooster yes I posted these girls a few months back trying to figure out the mix. I have a 3rd non-crested from the same batch. I feel sure all 3 are CCL/Welsummer crosses despite different appearances.
The red lays an almost smoke grey egg but they're olive when wet. The CCL looking one lays a pinkish gold egg. And this one lays olive.

EEs are technically any mixed breed/hybrid that will lay colored eggs, so they do not always have beards and muffs. Many of the newer ones the hatcheries are breeding are based on Cream legbars, so they will not have beards and muffs in that case.
