She is 2,started laying this year. She is very docile and "talks" to me alot.

Thank you. We love her, we tolerate him. Breeding season is a nightmare. He is lucky he is beautiful and we do actually love him, he is just not very smart.

she is very pretty

It's mating season. He is very territorial (our back porch area), he stalks and challenges me (every day), and if I bend down, he believes I am challenging him.
We do understand why he is this way. It only lasts til August.. We just deal with it..
