I've been offered one bundle of flat cedar shingles for free.

My small shed style coop is 4x4 feet and approx 5.5' in height. I might use the shingles on the front side as a decorative accent or might use it for roof, replacing the corrogated plastic currently on top.

Can anyone tell me how many shingles are in one bundle?

I really don't have a clue on how many ????? are there, but go ahead and get it for free, and then worry about the ##.

Coverage depends on the grade and exposure. figure 20 square feet. 1/5 of a square is the standard for shakes and wood shingles.

A bundle is 'usually' 100 square feet. But I don't know how many that is because they are all different sizes.

We did our entire coop in cedar shake. I thought I would share the picture.
