Raising goslings without supplemental feed?

So I'm having a heck of a time setting up a feeding station for the goslings. If I leave free choice food out the adults and chickens seem to eat the vast majority of it. I've been trying to jerry rig a fence around the feeder so only the goslings can get in but keep having chickens/ducks break in to get the food. I'm wondering how long goslings absolutely must have access to starter crumbles if they have very good pasture? Mine are now 3wks old seem to be growing just fine for the last few days without any supplemental crumbles but I'm worried I may set them up for developing a deficiency if I don't give them crumbles again?

Why not feed everyone a non medicated flock raiser ration for a while? Oyster shells free choice will supply the calcium to any egg laying birds.

I think a ration should always be available as they are growing to avoid problems. Do you pen them up? You can offer the ration for the overnight/morning if you do.
