For those that grind (vs feeding in "whole" form)......what grinder have you chosen?

Generally when I feed meat or fat to my cats I cook it first, though when I slaughter animals like hogs, goats, deer, elk moose etc they eat everything left over raw. As I am processing the meat I often freeze the meat scraps and with hogs the skin and then in the winter I haul it out and cook it up for them.

Though my cats are for generations used to hunting and eating all manner of voles, mice, squirrels, birds, snakes, fish they catch from my ponds etc.

Does it grind bones along with the meat like chicken backs, etc ?

Has anyone found a way to grind chicken with the bone. I have seen people use the old hand crank grinder to do this but I'm not sure of the modifications they used to make it work. Has anyone tried this.

I have only fed my dogs smaller bones like necks, wings and backs. No leg or thigh bones. They don't like their food ground unless it's beef

Yes, this one is warrantied to include grinding chicken bones.....goes through them like they are nothing. Some folks who use it say they've done rabbit bones too, I've not tried any rabbit.
