Recommend me your favorite chicks!

I like my olive eggers and red sex links... But I do have a Delaware, Barred Rock, and Jersey Giants but they are less than a month old. So far I have not had a chicken breed that I don't like! I think most breeds are good, it's all in the breeder or where you get them plus how you handle them. If you handle them daily, they should remain human friendly.
I figure as much. I've heard about friendly leghorns and mean silkies, but I like the added insurance. Plus, some of them lay pretty eggs to boot. :D

One Broody bird should not be used to represent the entire breed. I had a white leghorn go broody last year and 2 RSL that does not mean leghorns and RSL are commonly broody breeds.
Of course, I just said I was surprised to learn it, not that it was a rule.

Hi everyone!

Favorites is Australorps, Golden Sex Link, and Golden Wyandotte.

We picked up new chicks today after almost seven years. Down to three senior ladies and still laying.

New chicks today. Three black Australorps, three Golden Sex Links, and two Welsummers. It has been too long since I heard peeps. Welsummers we haven't had before so we are new to these ones.
