my local feed store hosted a poultry swap/purchase the first Saturday in June… the second. We picked up a few different breeds at different ages. We were told all the Cochins (Cheep Cheep, Ash, Wednesday, Rocket, Buddy) were about two weeks old, putting them around 6.5 now. Three EEs (Raja, Roadrunner, Cleopatrick) were 3 weeks then, now 7.5. Splash Wyandotte (Winnie) was a week then, now 5.5. We then picked up four more EEs the next Saturday making them all four weeks now. (Peggy, Dottie, Felicia, Simone).

We’re pretty confident Cleopatrick is a cockerel and getting Wednesday is as well. Not sure what’s going on with Winnie. Any thoughts?

Cleopatrick and Wednesday are cockerels for sure. Winne could be a cockerel but Wyandottes are tough so we shall see.

Cockerels:
Wednesday,Cleo Patrick are definitely males and I’d watch road runner, raja and Winnie.

Cleopatrick, Wednesday, and Roadrunner are cockerels for sure.
Buddy, Peggy, and Winnie are possibly cockerels.
Also I'm not so sure Winnie is a Splash Wyandotte.

I paused at Peggy and was like suspicious 👁👁 but didn’t want to add to the list.

Pugsley (Wednesday), Cleopatrick and Roadrunner are the definite cockerels.

Winnie is questionable and will take more time to tell. It's a Wyandotte, and sometimes pullets of that breed get big combs with some color early, so don't judge yet.

Cheep Cheep, Ash, Raja and Simone are pullets.

The rest will need more time. 6 weeks is a good age to post again for them. Or, if you don't know the age, give them 2 or 3 more weeks before trying again.

It looks like there are five different birds? One is a pullet, the little black and white one.
