Both are hens and certainly appear to be Red Sex Links (Isa Browns).

Just got a egg...its a small one. These girls are only just over 4 months old...I thought they had to be at least 6? To lay eggs. Im not complaining just took me by surprise.

Red Sex Links such as Isa Browns usually start laying sometime from 18-24 months, so if your hen is just over 4 months old, old she would be right at 18 weeks old. The eggs will get bigger as she continues to lay. Congratulations!

I had a red sex link start laying at 16 weeks once. Shocked me, I'll say! It's not the norm, but now your mind is at ease as to gender, isn't it
