Rooster or Hen

Hen or rooster? This is a 3 week old Buff Orpington and I am new to raising chickens but I am afraid that Princess Lay-an-egg might actually be Dark feather lol this little one is very much the dominator of the group and does not like to be away from the flock.

If that comb is as pink in reality as it is in these pictures, you have a cockerel.

Looks more like a Production Red than a Buff Orpington, and it's definitely a boy.

Our chicks are only 12 days old. This is the only one with a ridged line above the beak. Could we have a cockerel here? We were really hoping they were all hens or is the correct term pullet?

That's the comb, and it is too young to tell yet. It's a single/straight comb.

It might help everyone if you took a picture or more wile it was standing on a perch and the best time would be in the evening when it would be natural for you youngster to stand still .
