Hi everyone - we just got a new rooster because the poor incumbent was killed by a fox :-( . We got this guy at our city's animal control and he has turned out to be a good guy. We've had him about a week and today it is raining. All the hens and he came out, and the hens are somewhat waterproof - they get a little wet around the edges but never get wet to the skin. Not him - he's drenched. We need to pull him indoors to make sure he doesn't get hypothermic, Does anyone know why this is happening to him? Do you know what kind of rooster he is? Also - is that frostbite on his comb? He came to us like this
