This is what we are using for the run. It will have welded wireburied and up the sides probably 4 ft. The kit comes with coated chicken wire, so that will be over the whole run. Eventually we will have partial metal roof.
I am concerned with predators climbing and eating through. Area has mostly air predators...but still typical ground preds do exist.

Opinion/thoughts?
TIA

I recently set one up to give our ducks more room. Haven't put it in it's permanent spot yet so no hardware cloth on it. We have a fenced in yard and it's only for day time. The air predators is what I wanted it for.
You can certainly shore that up for other predators.

id add to concrete the wire into the ground. predators tend to stop digging once they hit the concreate. i use both welded wire with chicken wire on top for extra measures

What type of welded wire(gauge of wire and size of holes)?
How far is it buried?
Good examples of anti-dig apron installation.

They might if given enough time, raccoon could chew thru chicken wire if hungry enough.
Is your coop within this enclosure and is it predator proof?

Yes 2×4 cattle fencing apron buried. It will be 'married' to a smaller 1×2 welded that will go 4 ft up the sides. The coop is outside of it and it will be all proofed. I may just lock the girls up at night and call it a good job...lol
Pic is from our old coop/run up north.
This time we are modifying a 10×10 shed

I think it will be fine, a lot of people seem to use those structures for runs. Personally I would add in some conduit pipe or other material for more pole structure in the center, which I'd imagine would help with supporting the "field" of all that fencing materials and keeping them from sagging so much over time. You'll also likely need some additional support if adding a roof in the future, and maybe some ground anchors for wind updraft resistance. I'd want all that stuff in place before the structure gets covered in fencing materials.
