Three week update! Here is what the look like at 3 weeks.
The tufts!I have 2 sapphire olive eggers, as well! There is very little information on them, so hopefully, this thread will grow and more information will be available! Mine are 5 weeks old now. I'm hoping both are pullets, even though they feathered differently.
Pictures are from the day we got them to now.
I love it! The guy at orschelns told me that when they are chicks you can tell the difference between a male and a female by their wings. A male will have high tucked up wings with no little feathers showing and no bump on his bum. The female will have some feather poking out and lower wings and she will have a bump on her bum. Not sure how accurate it is but he seemed like he knew what he was talking about. Guess we’ll find out!
