Sapphire Olive Egger journey

This post will be about Sapphire Olive eggers and their colors from chicks - pullets - hens - then the egg colors they lay. These chicks came Hoovers Hatchery!
One is a light gray and the other black. Hopefully this will help someone when they are picking out their Sapphire Olive Eggers
Three week update! Here is what the look like at 3 weeks.

I’m glad to see this thread! I was supposed to get a sapphire olive Egger from Hoover’s. But the Feed Store told me that they put several breeds all together and there is no way to tell all these little hybrid chicks apart.😣 But here’s a pic of my Easter Egger/Legbar/Prairie Blue Bell/Sapphire Olive Eggers. I picked out the gray one, thinking she was the SOE. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Saw a pic of a PBB that was yellow/gray, so I hope that’s what she is. And the darkest has cheeks so maybe an EE?

My olive eggers hatched March 1, 4 months today. At least 2 are already laying. Anybody else have experience with this? I know the RSL’s and other shorter lived breeds lay super early. I hope these beautiful girls don’t burn out early, the way the RSL’s do! The cream colored egg is from my bantam Brahma, I don’t have an Easter egger bantam…
